As I've mentioned, PostSurf is based on a blind faith that there are many other surfers out there who are dissatisfied with the current state of the surf media. Some of these surfers have started leaving comments on the site.
On Sundays I'm often too hung over for original thought, so instead of a new post I present to you Comments of the Week.

I think this type of journalism/writing/wit is sorely needed in the surfing world. I refer commonly to my favorite magazine, Big Brother (RIP), and how I wish pro surfers would get a rabid ego tossing from wordsmiths’ such as Mr. Samuels, much like Dave Carnie dished it out to pro skateboarders on a frequent basis. The skateboarding world had Big Brother, unfortunately Mr. Larry Flynt decided to pull the plug on that decade of debauchery. Surfing needs a force like postsurf to berate the ridiculousness of surfers, the industry, and the surf media alike. Carry on Lewis, surfing needs you. Most are too stupid or self absorbed to understand.
