I refer commonly to my favorite magazine, Big Brother (RIP), and how I wish pro surfers would get a rabid ego tossing from wordsmiths' such as Mr. Samuels, much like Dave Carnie dished it out to pro skateboarders on a frequent basis. The skateboarding world had Big Brother, unfortunately Mr. Larry Flynt decided to pull the plug on that decade of debauchery. Surfing needs a force like postsurf to berate the ridiculousness of surfers, the industry, and the surf media alike. Carry on Lewis, surfing needs you.
