It is more a reflection of what low intellectual ceilings the editors consider of their subscribers! The “readers” have already swallowed the cover to cover ad campaign that permeates every page. It’s as if surfing experience exists solely within the realm of our professionals…. all bought and paid for and homeschooled to boot! The intriguing aspect is the reverence to these guys that surf better than us, despite obvious life inadequacies…. in this case, writing.
funny thing is, Alek Parker is a LOT funnier than Lewis. Possibly a bit brighter too.
