I was born in Alabama and moved to the Bay Area when i was 9 and started surfing in Santa Cruz when i was 12 then moved to hawaii when I got out of high school. When i was a teenager ( late 70s ) i was surrounded by counter culture types around Santa Cruz and San Francisco and the entire coast in between where we surfed all the time. I have always questioned the Vietnam war as well as our reasons for going into Iraq. I share many of the same views that many who have spoken out against me here on this page have. All I am saying is that our country seems to be following Obama blindly and it doesnt seem as if anyone, especially the mainstream media, is asking him tough questions. It is scary. I believe America is a great country. We were founded on the very principles which my buddy Pirate salsa seems to be against. No taxation without representation. I want to be free. I cherish freedom. I dont want the government involved that much in my life. i want the government to be open and honest. Obama PROMISED that and he hasnt fulfilled that promise. I have had some tough personal experiences in my life that i wont go into but I will just say that things have happened to me that brought me closer to God. Thats all. I believe in God. And I LOVE TO SURF. ALL THE TIME. Probably just like Drew and Pirate Salsa.When i am surfing here on the North Shore I feel close to God. And I want what is best for my country and I dont want my daughter to be burdened with trillions of dollars in debt that will cause inflation to skyrocket and drastically lower her quality of life in the future. We are ALL God's children and he loves us all equally and unconditionally. Love is ever present and it has no opinion and no ideology. In addition to surf and sunsets, we humans have also been given the gift of free will. But with that comes karma (the law of cause and effect). All will reap what they sow.
