This series of articles on Bali are really outstanding.  These are probably the first pieces I have read that really capture what Bali feels like.  To me Bali is the epitome of everything that is good and bad about surfing.  And everything that is good and bad about development.  I do hope that more good than bad has come out of surfing coming to Bali.  The Balinese have benefited in many ways.  And all that I have asked about this, say, with pause, that yes, the tourism is good for them.  They say it with pause though.</description>
