A lot of people say that peppering your language with snippets of French is pretentious. To them I say “au contraire!” But I digress. Eskimo is not of French origin, and the term is now considered quite politically incorrect. Eskimeaux, however, is the old term for a collection of Eskimo. Also known as a “chilly” of Eskimos. And you did’t answer my question.
Nice shots. I’d put all but the air and the swim/surf shot on my wall. I actually watched a newly released surf DVD made from a NZ film maker, It has solid footage in it… BUT… I have actually taken a dislike to the standard air reverse. I shoot photos and getting a good sequence of one is all good and fine but damn they’re starting get a little too cliche and boring. oh gee another twirly bird. Sure they gettin higher and maybe a little more tech, but i’d actually rather see a lofty standard no grab with no spin than the pros bread and butter spinner. Anyway, dig the B&W shots.

HE seems like he was influenced heavily by one certain individual. It’s so obvious it slaps you in the face.
I don’t need slack - I actually got some decent waves last week. Plus, deep down Mark loves me more than anyone here, as evidenced by his constant attempts to engage me. I love you, Mark, because that’s what God tells me to do. But, I love you even more as SJ, so keep up with that persona and we’ll be golden.
I like the anonymity of black and white silhouettes. In fact, reminds me a lot of surfing up here in the winter; We don’t get a lot of sunlight or color, and everyone is depressed, detached and self-medicating. But, we do know some Eskimo chicks.

@Mark - TT, hey? That’s interesting. On Bama vs. VT, I can’t wait to see it. Don’t really care about either team, but it sets up to be a great game unless Tyrod Taylor hasn’t matured as much as people had hoped. Bama has some holes to fill, but with all that talent I can’t imagine they’ll be too bad off.
The only reason Stu said “It’s a wonderful day!” is because Mark said that he vomited negativity every time he comes on Post Surf. Stu is being sarcastic. He doesn’t really feel that it is a wonderful day.

No, no. It was a wonderful day because I love the 4th in SoCal. Beaches overrun by drunken 909er dudes with tats coming out their ears and their chicks who, likely voted to keep gays from getting hitched because it’s what God wanted but quickly throw relevant bible passage out the window when it comes to their own lives. Makes you proud to be an American!

How about disproportionate street sweeps and random arrests? Or worse, saturating HB, kicking everyone out of the bars only to arrest them for drunk in public or drunk bike riding. What initially dwew me to these photos was the fact that they were of surfows. But these awen’t your avewage colorful southern califownia beach boys, bwimming with youthful energy and exuberance. The kind of young men you see in glossy magazines and videos. No, no, no these are lonely, ghost like figuwes twying to pweasure themselves in the early mowning hours befowe the sun even allows colow to exsist. They live a pwe dawn life of bad coffee, alarm clocks and cold fog. They find happiness but they find it alone with out the company of witnesses or cwitics. Adlers photgwaphy captures this solitary time. A time I am vewy familiar with since this is when dweams mingle with weality and god can communicate the deepest of ideas to the mind that is open and weceptive.
I was telling Blasphemy just the other day… “You know Taj’s Burro is one real go getter, not only did he register his pen name,but I sense big things coming from the burro in the coming days”
And what do you know, Burro pulls the enviro-green card away from Rasta, picks up the 909’s trash and cashes in with the real green on the back end. Sunshine out of rain.
